Suzanne Dallman is an assistant professor in the Department of Geography at California State University Long Beach. She teaches a variety of courses in Geography and Environmental Science & Policy related to environmental assessment and management, water resources, and watershed science. One of her primary goals in teaching is to help students to develop an awareness of how they and others impact the world in which they live. Dr. Dallman’s research interests are broadly focused on the impacts of human development on natural resources and the environment, with a particular interest in watershed and water resources management, land use, environmental policy and sustainability. She also serves on the Long Beach Water Commission, the governing body for the city's water department.
