Steven Williams is graduate research student in the University of Georgia’s College of Engineering. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in December of 2016 and continued straight into the graduate program where he will be obtaining a M.S. in Engineering. Steven’s interest include structural and geotechnical engineering. His current research involves evaluating the performance of geosynthetic materials in poor subgrade soils from the state of Georgia. Steven’s goals beyond graduation are to obtain a position with a structural engineering firm and become a licensed professional engineer.
