I'm a literary philosopher, queer theorist, and post-critic, currently working with Open Universities Australia. I received my PhD in 2011 for a critical-creative thesis examining Jacques Derrida's writings on James Joyce, and have since presented and published widely in the fields of literary studies (esp. avant-gare 20th century modernism, and post-print literature) and literary theory (post-structuralism, deconstruction), (critical-)creative writing, the digital humanities, gender studies and queer theory, and higher education pedagogies. I have extensive teaching experience in the areas of litrary studies and creative writing, and learning design experience across a number of disciplines - ranging from the arts, humanities, and social sciences, to education, business, nursing, health, and the biological sciences. I am Managing Editor of the inter-disciplinary, inter-media, online, open-access gender, sexuality, and diversity studies academic journal Writing from Below (www.writingfrombelow.org.au), and a Commissioning Editor with the new queer press Stein & Wilde (www.steinandwilde.com), specialising in creative non-fiction and experimental prose.
