  The investigator is Head of the Department of Psychology and Vice Principal of Fergusson College, one of the top ten colleges in India. She completed her post graduation in 1978 from Pune University. The Ph.D. degree was awarded to her in 1988. Her specialization is in Industrial Psychology and Organization Behaviour. She has been teaching Psychology in Fergusson College, Pune, India, for last 31 years at undergraduate level and for 10 years at postgraduate level. She has to her credit 12 book publications and 7 research publications at national and international level, publication of 5 more papers is in process. She has delivered plenary lectures and presented papers at national and international conferences/seminars. She worked as a member of Board of Studies at Pune University; and was an active member of the team to bring about innovative changes in curriculum. She has rich experience of social work and counselling. At present she is working on a minor research project on Quality of Work-related Life and Health in an Indian industrial setting, approved and funded by University Grants Commission, New Delhi.
