She evaluated the Museums and Galleries Education Programme Phase 2 and the Dance and Drama Award Scheme for DfES. She jointly led research on Artists' Labour Markets for Arts Council England and co-directed the project on Employment, Careers and Professional Development for the 2005 national Review of the Presentation of the Contemporary Visual Arts. She evaluated the Artist Teacher Scheme and, with the Mead Gallery, is investigating sculpture trails as sites of learning. She is interested in childrens' learning and professional development in the cultural sector which presents particularly challenging contexts.
