Sandra Staudacher is an academic assistant, lecturer and PhD candidate at the Institute of Social Anthropology at the University of Basel. She writes her dissertation “Cosmopolitan Aging in Zanzibar: Health, Care and Transnational Links to Oman” in a Swiss National Science Foundation funded project. She completed her BA and MA studies in Social Anthropology and Law at the University of Basel and the University of Lausanne. 2015-2016 she was a research fellow at the Harvard University.
