  Sarah Isabelle Torres is a Filipina communication scholar and development worker. She earned BA Journalism in 2014 and MA Media Studies in 2019 from the University of the Philippines. On August 2014, she co-founded Out of The Box (OOTB), a non-government organization that advances media literacy educaiton in the Philippines. Currently, she is the Asia-Pacific Coordinator of Reality of Aid, a network of organizations focusing on development assistance and proverty reduction. In her spare time, she teaches Journalism and Film in a community college. Sarah is interested to pursue research works on media and film literacies, women and Indigenous Peoples, and civic participation.
