Sara Badran, 22 year old senior Architecture student at the University of Jordan, with a great passion for academic cultural exchanges and social participations that started with being an exchange student in the United States for my tenth grade in Lapeer, Michigan, 2010. As an architecture student I participated in multiple architectural conferences such as Summer School in Sicily-Italy under the title of: Architettura, Paesaggio, Archeologia (Architecture, Landscape, and Archaeology) at Università degli Studi di Palermo, where I was involved in an architectural project regarding the architecture, landscape and archaeology of the Mediterranean area, alongside with a group of Italian students. I also participated in the 5th Architectural Jordanian International Conference in Amman, Jordan 2016.
With two technical internships in 2017 one 6 weeks’ internship in project management at JLL Company in Dubai, UAE, and the other 8 weeks internship at APA cad Company in Warsaw, Poland. Moreover I have many certificates that enhanced my architectural skills including; Autodesk certified professional in Revit architecture 2015, Adobe Photoshop CC for architectural visualization, AutoCAD certified user. I have several volunteering experiences; IAESTE organization as an exchange coordinator. Also a volunteer at the Gaza Refugee Camp, with “Basmitak” organization. And a volunteer at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation. I am a U.S. Department of State Alumni, at the Amideast office in Jordan, where I encourage cultural exchanges. Also participated in the IAESTE annual conference in Prague, Czech Republic in 2016 as a representative of Jordan.
