Dr Richard O'Donovan is a Senior Lecturer in the Education Faculty of Monash University. He has a background in secondary school teaching, software and database engineering, the not-for-profit sector, program evaluation, and Rasch based psychometry. He has collaborated on numerous Australian Research Council projects and is interested in positive transformation of schooling and society in general. He co-founded the harm prevention charity Hands On Learning Australia to help schools re-engage students at risk of dropping out, and more recently SWISH: Safe Water for Indigenous Sustainable Homelands
