  Rose Mba Ikyo is 58 year old mother of five and grandmother. She has been widowed for over ten years now. A member of the Teachers' Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and other professional bodies, is also an officer of the Girls' Brigade of Nigeria. Rose is an educationist whose working career has spanned close to three decades, having taught at various levels of education in Nigeria. Many books on educational administration and other topical issues in education have been authored by her and are in circulation in Nigeria and beyond. She is a voracious reader, loves singing christian hymns and other christian activities.
