  I am a MD working in the University Hospitals of Geneva and focusing my medical training onto prehospital medicine. I am also involved since many years inside the local rescue branch of the Geneva Red Cross, called the Samaritans. I had the opportunity to work for the ICRC in 2010-2011 (improvement of immunization campaigns, collection of data concerning health care insecurity, contribution to the launch of the Health Care in Danger project, development of a policy aimed at dealing with emerging non communicable issues) and again in 2014 (First Aid and prehospital care). I have just finished a short paper analyzing how First Aid activities might help to dialogue with Non State Armed Groups as a secondary benefit. My particular interests are health and security issues, health governance & intelligence.
