Dr. Rachel Ellison is an Assistant Professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the Health Services Administration program in the College of Nursing and Allied Health Professions. She has taught a variety of courses in the health care administration field, including: Financial Management in Health Care, Vulnerable Populations, Leadership in Health Care, and Health Care Across Cultures. Before teaching, Dr. Ellison worked in the healthcare administration field directly dealing with healthcare policy and the affect it had on financing hospitals. Dr. Ellison is extensively involved in interdisciplinary research around healthcare administration.
