Dr. Gage began her teaching career with an MA in Linguistics and TESOL, teaching English as a language and training TESOL teachers for many years. As her interests expanded, she pursued a Ph.D. in Education with a concentration in Language, Literacy, and Culture studies. Her areas of expertise are Language Awareness in professional communication, teacher professional development in the areas of TESOL methodology and pedagogy, Metacognition in Written Communication, Language Acquisition, and Bilingualism.
