I am a lecturer in the Department of Religious Studies. My research and teaching activities are in the fields of Comparative Religion and African Religions. My main research focus majorly on African Traditional Religion as it interacts with Islam and Christianity in the Yoruba community of Nigeria. I have sought to discuss some religio-social issues which are relevant to present day Africa. The aim also has been that traditional beliefs and practices can no longer be discussed in complete isolation in a dogmatic manner without taking into consideration other belief systems.
