Nour Sheikh Salem, fifth-year undergraduate Architectural student, University of Jordan. Self-motivated student with passion for delivering outstanding works that revolve around creating changes to influence a better lifestyle for communities as well as society at large. During my 3-month internship tenure in PNC Architects in Dubai, I have proactively participated in the conceptualization of Sobha Hartland. Also participated in the International Advanced Studies Course revolving around architecture, landscape, and archaeology at the University of Palermo in Sicily, Italy. During our time, we have debated the importance of architecture, and how it reflects similarities between differing cultures in the Mediterranean area and Sicily. In addition, attended the Fifth International Architectural Conference held in Amman. Furthermore, I have proactively participated in character building activities initiated by AISEC. I have come to appreciate the expertise I had gained from such exposures, and I strongly believe that I am passionate to influence change onto others through my work.
