My thesis is concerned with contemporary practices of parenting and in particular, how new media are playing a role in perpetuating and giving shape to different sorts of perceptions and conceptualisations of diverse ethnic cultures, global geopolitical structures, and their relationships to changing concepts of the traditional family home.
