Sinclair enters his eighth behind the bench at Skidmore. In 2006-07, his second season, he led the team to a third place finish in the ECAC East/NESCAC Interlock and Skidmore’s first home playoff game since entering the ECAC East. At the conclusion of the 2006-07 season, Sinclair was recognized as the ECAC East Coach of the Year. Sinclair attended Middlebury College where he played four years of varsity hockey. As a senior defenseman, he was a First Team All-American and ECAC First Team selection. He began his coaching career at Middlebury Union High School (VT), leading his team to a state championship in 1996. He returned to his alma matter as an assistant coach in 1999. IN 2002-03, he served as the Acting Head Coach while long-time Panther Head Coach Bill Beaney was on sabbatical. Sinclair guided the team to a 22-5-2 record, including a regular season New England Small College Athletic Conference Championship, and a run to the NCAA Division III semifinals. He then moved to Williams College to coach the women’s team from 2003-05.
