  He was born in Karachi Pakistan in 1968. He graduated from University of Karachi, Pakistan with the degree of Bachelor of Commerce in 1988. He then pursued his engineering degree, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from New Era College, Philippines in 1992. He completed his Masters in Business Administration from University of Santo Tomas, Philipines in 1994 and Master in Science from the Department of Computer Science, University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom in 2002. He started his career from Citibank. He has been working in Pakistan Institute of Management since 1995 as a Faculty member. His area of interest is Technology Management, Knowledge Management, Financial Management, and Strategy. He is currently pursuing his Phd Research in the department of Engineering Management at center for Advanced Studies in Engineering (CASE), Islamabad, Pakistan in the area of Knowledge Management.
