    The efficacy of online Vinyasa Yoga and Taijifit on physical health outcome measures and quality of life of adult informal caregivers. An examination of: the changes occurring in society as a result of the country’s aging demographic profile; Canada’s informal caregiver population and select contemporary health issues; healthy aging with the growth of technology-based programs and classes; applied movement for health, physical performance, and clinical applications; the burgeoning public and scientific interest in mind-body medicines; health from a holistic perspective; the impact of 12 weeks of physical activity (Yoga/Tai Chi) and six weeks of cessation on health and physical performance (muscle strength and endurance, tasks of functionality, flexibility, quality of life); the body’s opposing, interdependent, complementary, and inter-transformational systems and functions (e.g., psychological, physiological, mechanical, skeletal, muscular, nervous, respiratory) and their role(s) in applied and clinical human movement and performance; the necessity of partnership and reciprocity between academia and the public for practical health solutions; and developing community ability to meet its own needs and change its own health outcomes.
