I earned my B.A. at University California Berkeley, my M.A. & Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at Washington University, St. Louis, MO. I engaged in post graduate work in Russian studies at University St. Petersburg, Russia, and sabbatical work at the Graduate Theological Union, in Berkeley, CA. For many years I taught world literature and composition at the College of Idaho, where I was Assoc. Professor of English, Modern Foreign Languages, and Religion, as well as Eng. Dept. Chair. I then moved to Turkey and worked as the Communication Program Director and teacher of undergraduate and graduate academic writing and world literature at Koc University, Istanbul. Upon my return to the States six years ago, I have been living and working in Thatcher, Arizona, teaching world lit, literary theory, film, college reading, and composition in the Eng. Dept at Eastern Arizona College.
