  I am a BBC World Service correspondent in Ecuador and I teach Journalism and Digital Journalism at the Universidad del Azuay, in Cuenca city. I have worked since April 2000 for the BBC World Service Spanish American Section in London, Miami and Cairo, before coming to Ecuador. I did four courses to become War correspondent at the BBC and I was sent to Second Gulf War in 2003. In 2005 I became the first blogger of BBC Mundo, the website of the Spanish American Section. I was the Middle East correspondent for the Spanish American Section between 2007 and 2008. Since I came to Ecuador I started to work as a Journalism university professor. Less
