...MoreDr Winbolt is a Registered Nurse with many years experience in the care of older people specialising in the care of people with dementia. Dr Winbolt's reasearch foci are care of older people, care of people with dementia and practice improvement with a strong emphasis on knowledge translation activities aimed at translating research knowledge in to day-to-day practice.
Dr Winbolt is one of six Directors of the Dementia Traiing Australia (DTA) consortium. Funded by the Australian Government Department Health, DTA aims to support professional carers from all care sectors nationally to provide optimal care to people living with dementia. This is achieved through education activities and resources, knowledge translation projects and engagement with health care providers.
