After undertaking and Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning at the University of South Australia with First Class Honours focusing on rural-urban migration in Cambodia I decided to expand on my honours thesis in the form of PhD research. I am now a PhD candidate at the University of Adelaide working with Professor Graeme Hugo focusing on climate change and migration in Cambodia with subsets of my research looking at patterns of internal migration in Cambodia and more general drivers of internal migration in Cambodia. I will be travelling to Cambodia in June of 2010 to undertake primary data collection.
