Manuel Vega is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Santiago of Chile. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree at the same university and a Master of Engineering Degree at Mc Gill University (Canada). He has been Chairman of the Electrical Engineering Department and Associated Principal of the University of Santiago. He has been participating at the CDIO Initiative and he has been working at the National Electricity Company in Santiago and at a steel company (Compania de Acero del Pacifico) in the south of Chile. His educational and research interests include Digital Electronic, Microcontrollers and Engineering Education.
