Dr. philos Martina Maria Keitsch works currently as Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim Norway. Her professional focus is on sustainable design strategies in society, social entrepreneurship and stakeholder involvement through design methodologies and tools as well design theory and ethics. In 2002 Keitsch received her doctoral degree from the Faculty of History and Philosophy at NTNU for a dissertation on environmental ethics and nature aesthetics. From 2002-2004 she worked as a Post-doctoral scholar with industrial ecology, eco-design and ethics. Keitsch has worked from 2007-2011 at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, where she still holds a 20% position. She is a steering board member of the International Society for Sustainable Development Research, the Oslo National Academy of Arts (KHiO), and NORDCODE (Nordic network for research on communicative product design).
