Martine Rouleau is a freelance curator and lecturer in London. She currently lectures in the Fine Arts department of Goldsmiths College and in the Arts Management and Policy MA programme of Birkbeck College. As a curator, she has organised the Experiences of the Dark series of performances at Tate Modern and the Philosophy of the Overlooked series of interdisciplinary talks and events at the Institute of Contemporary Arts. She completed a PhD pertaining to museum studies and boundaries of public art institutions at the London Consortium in 2009. She obtained a Masters in Semiotics and Communication specialising in documentary photography from the Université du Québec à Montréal in 2002.
