  I am a documentary filmmaker, photographer and radio producer and presenter of a weekly music radio show. I am also a lecturer at RMIT University in Melbourne Australia. My PhD research was a documentary film on the Rastafari repatriates who have settled in Ethiopia. I am currently working on another film based on a Rastafari priest as well as a documentary project with indigenous Australians in the Northern Territory.

  The research consisted of a 40 minute documentary film called 'Rastas' Journey 'Home'. The film incorporated several themed still image sections. My written research component was a 53,000 word dissertation.
