Dr. Morgan coordinates the Natural Resources Recreation Management specialization within the Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Prior to his current job, Mark held tenured faculty positions at Kansas State University and Georgia Southern University. He received his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University in Recreation and Resource Development. Dr. Morgan teaches classes in Outdoor Recreation Policy, Visitor Behavior, Interpretation, and Environmental Education. Mark’s research primarily focuses on human dimensions of natural resource management, especially as it relates to education and outreach. He has traveled in Central / South America and in Asia. In his spare time, Mark enjoys fishing, canoeing and nature study.
