Masaaki Mizuochi is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Policy Studies at Nanzan University where he has been a faculty member since 2013. He completed his Ph.D. and undergraduate studies at Tohoku University in Japan. His research interests lie in the area of labor economics and the economics of the family. In recent years, he has focused on the analysis of labor supply, health status, and subjective well-being of elderly people in Japan. He is a member of Population Association of America and European Association for Population Studies. He currently serves on the conference program committee of Population Association of Japan.
