Dr. Mary Bernard is currently Professor in the College of Interdisciplinary Studies at Royal Roads University (RRU). She was the first Associate Vice President, Research, for RRU, a young and innovative Canadian university solely devoted to applied and professional programming. The majority of programs are at the graduate level serving those who wish to advance in the workplace. Prior to Royal Roads, Dr. Bernard was with the Faculty of Environmental Studies, at York University as well as the York Centre for Applied Sustainability, the Native/Canadian Relations Theme Area, and Action Learning Resources. Dr. Bernard's research interests include: the Eric Trist School of Thought, chaos theory, organizational change, and action learning. Dr. Bernard has participated in the Oxford Futures Forums.
