...MoreProfessor Baird is the Associate Dean Learning and Teaching for the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Monash University. She is also the Foundation Head of the Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences which she created in 1997. Professor Baird has extensive national and international experience in reviewing university medical radiation programs as well as acting as an academic advisor in the development of new programs in medical imaging. She has a strong interest in developing assessment approaches that can bridge the theory practice gap. Her current interest lies in the relationship of “fitness to practise” and the pre-registration health profession curriculum.
