  Lisa Wagner (MA, University of Pittsburgh; Ph.D. The Ohio State University) is an Associate Professor of Spanish and Linguistics and Director of the Undergraduate Program in Spanish at the University of Louisville, Louisville, KY, USA. She regularly teaches courses on Spanish linguistics at the undergraduate and graduate levels on topics such as L2 Spanish phonetics, Spanish sociolinguistics, and dialectology of the Spanish-speaking world. In addition, she is responsible for curricula and program evaluation. Her current research interests include: linguistic landscapes, discourse analysis, L2 teaching and learning, and Spanish>English literary translation. She has published in such diverse venues as Hispania, Spanish in Context, and Us and Them (John Benjamins).
