Multimedia Learning Theory

There has been a lot of research done to examine how the student's brains respond to the layout of the content presented. Cognitive Load Theory has contributed greatly to our understanding of how incosiderate layouts affect students' capacity to process information effectively. Richard Mayer proposed Multimedia Learning Theory based on the lessons of Cognitive Load Theory.
