I am a full time practicing kindergarten teacher who has worked not only in Canada, but in the International school system as well. Having taught through the British system at The British School in Warsaw Poland and experiencing the IBO program at the International School of Paris, my views and philosophies of education are well rounded. As I teach, I continue my studies and my research as I am a PHD Art Education student at the University of Concordia. My research interests include the implication of the arts in your everyday classroom, specifically with regards to literacy. I am also interested in the life histories of kindergarten teachers, how they came to their position and how they make use of the arts in the early childhood classroom.
