...MoreKristine Hwang is a graphic designer, researcher and an educator who delivers cutting edge and innovative graphic design. Hwang's research focuses on improving communication using the most advanced technology, which includes digital publishing design and Augmented Reality (AR) for interactive prints. She has been presenting her research at numerous regional, national and international conferences. Her writing has been published on various international journals. Hwang is also an associate editor in the International Journal of the Book and an assistant professor of Graphic Communications at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. With a Bachelor in Graphic Design from San Diego State University and a Master of Fine Arts in Computer Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology, Hwang is currently pursuing her passion, which is to teach and share her knowledge and work experiences with her students. Her educational background as well as her work experiences at Eastman Kodak and other web and design consulting companies have allowed her to give rewarding and knowledgable lectures as a professor. In addition to teaching, Hwang also loves working on projects for non-profit organizations and pro bono projects, because she strongly believes that her creative graphic and multimedia design will influence our daily lives and contribute to a better society. She has served as an Education Chair of AIGA Atlanta Chapter since December of 2013.
