...MoreKory Hill is a professor in the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department at Jacksonville State University where he has been since 2001. He holds B.S. in biology, an M.S. in Exercise Science and a PhD. in Physical education. His research interests center on the practical application of technology for improving HPER pedagogy and the promotion of physical activity for youth outside of the traditional school day. Dr. Hill has worked in intramural sports, education and recreational sports settings and believes strongly in the ability each setting to uniquely contribute to a healthier society. Most recently has made presentations and produces publications on technology in HPE, healthy competition, the promotion of physical activity for girls, and the value of resistance training for in combating hypokinetic diseases. In his free time, Dr. Hill enjoys staying active while playing tennis, golf and resistance training.
