...MoreKimberly Burgess is a native of Muscle Shoals, Alabama and is presently employed with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System as an Extension Specialist. Housed at the North Alabama Regional Extension Office, Kimberly provides supervision and support to ten northwest Alabama counties that participate in the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP).
Kimberly is a 1993 graduate of the University of North Alabama in Florence, Alabama where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Environmental Sciences and is a 2000 graduate of the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama where she earned a Master of Arts in Teaching.
Previously, Kimberly provided leadership for the Greene County Family and Consumer Sciences Program and EFNEP (1994-1997), provided leadership for The Tuscaloosa County EFNEP Program (1997-1999) and has served EFNEP as Multi-County Agent and Specialist since 1999.
Kimberly is currently a member of the Alabama Cooperative Extension Service Employees Organization, the Extension Specialist Association, and the National Extension Association for Family and Consumer Sciences.
