Kelly Shedd is currently the FitWell Assistant Program Director at UCLA Recreation. In this position, she coordinates and assesses the fitness and wellness programming at UCLA to analyze efficacy and university wide impacts. She is actively involved in the UCLA Healthy Campus Initiative, hosts annual campus wide health events such as I Heart Walking and Stress Less Week, and oversees the CDC Diabetes Prevention Program offered to students, faculty, staff, and community members. She is also a part of the University of California (UC) Wellness Coordinator committee that collaborates with all UC campuses for comprehensive and meaningful strategies to improving the health of staff and faculty.
Kelly graduated from UCLA with a B.A. in Psychology, and went on to complete her MPH at Benedictine University. She is also currently a Certified Health Education Specialist and Certified Personal Trainer.
