Karen Wenz is a D2L (LMS) System Administrator for Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, the fourth-largest system of two-year colleges and four-year universities in the United States. Her background in teaching includes literature, mythology, academic and professional writing, and film studies. She holds BA degrees in English and Films Studies, an MA degree in English, and has a special interest in film noir and its reflection of society. She has presented on both academic and technical topics at the D2L FUSION international learners conference, the International Conference on Learning, the Society for the Interdisciplinary Study of Social Imagery conference, as well as state and local academic and IT conferences in Minnesota. She enjoys travel and adventure, and is an avid participant in lifelong learning.
