Ph.D., DSc, Eng. Arch. Professor Cracow University of Technology (CUT). The core of his academic research is an architectural practice and the influence of cultural factors on architectural design and form. He is the author of "Zbigniew Kupiec 1905-1990-from modernism to regionalism" Lectures in Poland and abroad. Butelski is the author of more than 75 architectural designs out of which the most important in last years are: Odeon in Biała Podlaska, Sports Arena in Lubliniec, Extension of Batowice Cemetary in Cracow, Security Centre in Cracow, La Maison, Talo and Das Haus residential complex in Cracow. He was also awarded in 28 competition most important West Kowloon Reclamation Concept Plan Competition in HongKong (with Takeyama, Wojtowicz Watanabe). Butelski is a member of authorities National Chamber of Architects, awarded by this chamber Silver and Gold Medal.
