  Dr. John Bond is a professor of educational leadership at Seattle Pacific University. He teaches courses in the principal and superintendent certification programs and serves as a doctoral faculty member. Prior to joining the SPU faculty in 2008, Dr. Bond served as a public school administrator for 28 years. This included 20 years as a principal and 8 years as a central office administrator. His scholarship interests are primarily focused on formative assessment, including application in the classroom and by practitioners.
