  I am a professor of complex systems and sustainability science at Seoul National University (SNU), South Korea. My original background is biometeorology and currently serving in the interdisciplinary program in Agricultural and Forest Meteorology at SNU, focusing on nurturing key competences in sustainability education and research. We have developed a conceptual model (based on two first principles), combined with an engineering of vision which is an essential framework in sustainability science. This idea recently has been endorsed by the Future Earth as one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Lab, which is now under progress in rural village in Tanzania.
