  Jonathan Joy is a Pennsylvania-based experimental moving-image maker and sound artist. He has an extensive production design skillset in cinema, non-linear narratives, sonic explorations and custom-built instrumentation. His media practice focuses on Live Cinema particularly the engagement between spectator and performer. His research interests include Live Cinema, performance, Affect Theory, Slow Cinema, "Liveness," and 21st Century Spectatorship. He currently is an assistant professor at Kutztown University.
