  Jimmie Smith has been the Director of the Learning Effectiveness Program since August, 2009. Education is Jimmie’s career of choice and helping student reach their goals is her passion. She has worked in the field of education for over 35 years and more than half of that time has been in higher education. Before coming to University of Denver, Jimmie was a Learning Disabilities Specialist and Counselor at a community college in Washington. Jimmie received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Black Hills State University and her master’s in education from Framingham State College. She also has a specialization in Learning Disabilities and graduate work in Educational Leadership. Less
