Jennifer Rundels, MLIS, has been a Librarian with Off-Campus Library Services at Central Michigan University since 2008 where she works with students and faculty affiliated with CMU’s Global Campus. Her primary responsibilities are reference services and library instruction—online and face-to-face—while serving on various library committees. She is also active in the Distance Learning Section of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL). Ms. Rundels has experience as co-editor of the Distance Library Services Conference Proceedings as well as teaching experience as an adjunct faculty in the Library and Information Science Program at Wayne State University. Prior to her appointment at CMU, she worked at the digital preservation service Portico in Princeton, New Jersey and held librarian positions at General Motors and Chrysler in metropolitan Detroit. She received her BA in English with honors from Oakland University in 1993 and her MLIS from Wayne State University in 1995. She is currently pursuing her MA in Educational Technology from CMU and expects to graduate in December 2012. Her interests include information literacy, educational technology, distance education, and online learning in higher education.
