Jason Wright is a Graduate Research Assistant attending the University of Georgia’s College of Engineering. Before entering the Graduate program Jason attended UGA while obtaining his B.S. in Civil Engineering. He was heavily involved in the student chapter of ASCE, completed 3 semesters of a co-op rotation with a Geotechnical engineering firm, assisted in undergraduate research, and was a Teaching Assistant for a soil mechanics laboratory class. His area of focus is geotechnical and structural engineering and is currently working on a GDOT sponsored research project investigating the effectiveness of geosynthetic in North Georgia soils. After graduation, Jason plans on starting a career in geotechinical consulting in the southeast while staying involved in local ASCE chapters.
