James Thompson is currently a student in the Interdisciplinary PhD Program in the Built Environment at the University of Washington in Seattle. Research interests broadly center on how critical theory and critical thinking is and can be employed in design and planning processes, both in education and in practice. Previously, he received a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota and worked in several architecture firms throughout the United States.
