Ioanna Antoniou-Kritikou received her M.A. degree in Linguistics from the University of Paris 7, Department of Linguistics and her Ph.D. in the field of Theoretical Linguistics from the same Department. She also received an M.A. degree in the field of language teaching methodology from the University of Paris 3. Since 1994, she has been working as a linguist at the Educational Technology Department of the Institute for Language and Speech Processing (ILSP), where she has been developing educational multimedia software in the context of many research projects. Ioanna Antoniou-Kritikou is currently Director of Research at ILSP / R.C. "Athena". Since 2001, she teaches Educational Technology issues in the Interdisciplinary Interuniversity Postgraduate Course in Language Technologies “Technoglossia” organised by the University of Athens and the National Technical University of Athens. She has published books and research papers in the field of language teaching methodology and Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL).
