Huynh Viet Khai is a lecturer at the School of Economics and Business Administration, Can Tho University, Vietnam and a member of the Economy and Environment Program for Southeast Asia (EEPSEA). He completed PhD at the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, Kyushu University, Japan in 2011. He has been doing researches on the productive efficiency of agricultural production, water pollution, the demand of agricultural insurance, the solution of poverty reduction, organic production, biodiversity conservation and so on. He is also interested in economic valuation of non-market goods such as externality of agriculture and forest, waste management, environmental policy, the applications of contingent valuation and choice modeling methods.
