Huseyn Aliyev currently works on completing his Ph.D in Politics at the University of Otago, New Zealand. He holds a master’s degree in International Humanitarian Action from Ruhr-Universität, Bochum, Germany, and also has a MA degree in International Politics from Kyung Hee University, South Korea. His current research interests are civil society, armed conflicts and democratization in the Caucasus and the former Soviet Union.
